No news is good news!

Nothing new!

My November 1/06 appointment with the oncologist was unremarkable..... physical exam was all fine, although it will be the scans later this month that will actually show what is going on.... still.... my lungs sound fine, abdomen, etc........ I am feeling quite fine, so I am certainly hoping that the disease is stable. I can't say I am confident of that, but certainly I am very hopeful!

And, I am feeling better and stronger, so the break from chemo is seeming like a very good thing.... I even have little hairs growing in all over my head, in between all the thinned out strands.... it might get looking a little freaky, but it is great to have hair! And great to not have it falling out all over the place....

I am scrambling to attend to the paperwork involved in the "consult" at Memorial Sloan Kettering, currently booked for November 30, and that will be an interesting experience as well. Gord and I will spend two nights in New York City and that will certainly be a thrill.

That's it for now....

Hi Jo,
Thanks for the update - glad that you are starting to feel better. Hopefully, by the time of your cruise you will be ready to go!

Most of us in BC will be cheering for the Riders but unfortunately my kids are Lions fans - I can't convince them otherwise!

Looking forward to Christmas when we'll see you all,
Kelly

Hi Joanne, It was so great to see you and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. I just wanted to let you know that I just checked the ticketmaster website and there are tickets for Wicked on November 28th at 7:00p.m. Great seats!!! I thought that you might want to check this out.

Well no news week sounds just great. We are glad to hear that you are feeling stronger. Here in GP we are getting ready for the big move so we will be out of contact for awhile, hopefully not toooooo long. I am sure there must be a Macy's parade in New York right around the time you are there. If no parade there is always Macy's to shop in. Take care. JT and Family

Glad you are feeling a bit better. I hope the NY trip goes well and that you find it helpful. I'm sure the show will be wonderful.

I'd mention your visit to Steph, butt we are not in touch much now, and you and Gord will do just fine I'm sure.
